Senior Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Platform

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on Tide’s Agentic Platform team, you will lead the architecture and design of shared capabilities that enable AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across the organization. This role is pivotal in determining whether Tide builds isolated AI pilots or a reusable, compounding platform that drives long-term value in productivity, risk management, and customer connectivity.
• • You will define the architecture for Tide’s agentic platform, drive the design of core services including context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability, and partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to transform use cases into reusable platform capabilities. You will set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience, provide technical leadership across teams, and implement cost-management and routing logic to optimize LLM spending across providers. Additionally, you will design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories.
