Senior Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Platform

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on Tide’s Agentic Platform, you will lead the architecture and design of shared capabilities that enable AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across the organization. This role is pivotal in determining whether Tide builds isolated AI pilots or a reusable, compounding platform that drives long-term value in productivity, risk management, and customer connectivity.
• • You will define the architecture for the agentic platform, drive design of shared services including context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability, and partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to turn use cases into reusable platform capabilities. You will set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience, provide technical leadership across teams, implement cost-management and routing logic to optimize LLM spend, and design automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories.
