- • Senior/Staff Software Engineer on Pinecone's Database Team, building robust, real-time distributed systems for a cutting-edge vector database that powers AI applications for thousands of customers and developers worldwide.
- • Collaborate with teammates to design and build database features, tune performance, support reliability in distributed systems, help run Pinecone smoothly on major cloud providers, take ownership of work, and grow skills daily in a fun, learning-focused environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of work experience programming in Rust, Go, C++, or a comparable language
- • Genuine curiosity about distributed systems and eagerness to dive deep into technical challenges
- • Approach problems with creativity and persistence, comfortable asking thoughtful questions or seeking feedback
- • Excited to learn, value constructive feedback, and appreciate mentorship
- • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or ability to pick up new tools quickly (Bonus)
- • Comfortable thinking in async or multi-threaded environments or ready to learn (Bonus)
