📋 Description

• • As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack at Skylight, you will design, implement, and maintain software systems that improve government services for users, directly contributing to better public outcomes through modern, user-centered digital products.
• • You will build and maintain modern web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, researchers, and product managers, develop robust backend systems and APIs, deliver dynamic and accessible frontend interfaces, integrate AI and ML capabilities where beneficial, apply lean-agile engineering principles, identify and address technical debt, choose appropriate open-source tools, and support secure, compliant development through documentation and code review.
• • Skylight is a digital consultancy at the forefront of reinventing how government serves families, patients, and the public through design and technology, working with agencies like the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) to expand digital services and build long-term technical capacity in a mission-driven, cross-functional environment.
