  • • As a Senior Strategic Partner Manager at Covey Technologies, Inc., you will drive growth and retention for DoorDash’s merchant partners by leading strategic relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring long-term satisfaction and platform adoption. This role is critical to scaling DoorDash’s impact on local economies by empowering small and mid-sized restaurant businesses to thrive through data-informed partnership strategies.
  • • You will manage a portfolio of top SMB restaurant merchant partners nationwide, conducting quarterly business reviews to showcase performance wins and uncover growth areas, while proactively minimizing churn through targeted upsells of DoorDash products and services tailored to each merchant’s unique goals.
  • • Using data analytics, you will test and refine operational processes to enhance merchant efficiency, troubleshoot product-related issues, and collaborate with Product, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure seamless platform experiences that drive adoption and retention.
  • • You will engage directly with C-suite level decision-makers at partner organizations, leveraging insights and sophisticated objection-handling techniques to influence strategic decisions and align DoorDash solutions with executive business objectives.
  • • The Outside Account Management team at DoorDash is dedicated to helping partners capture engagement, growth, and performance on the platform by building customized success plans that adapt to evolving business needs, ensuring partners not only succeed but continue to expand their use of DoorDash’s ecosystem.

  • • In this role, you will develop advanced skills in strategic account management, data-driven storytelling, cross-functional influence, and executive-level negotiation—positioning you for leadership opportunities in partnership strategy, customer success, or go-to-market roles within high-growth tech environments.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience in post-sales, Account Management, or a related customer-facing role with proven success in managing a book of business
  • • Strong empathy for customer needs and ability to adapt strategies to meet unique merchant goals, driving satisfaction, retention, and product adoption
  • • Proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Sheets for complex data tracking and Google Slides for creating client-facing presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • • Experience navigating sales and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator to manage pipelines and track partner interactions
  • • Demonstrated ability to operate with a bias for action and ownership mindset, treating your book of business as your own to drive results
  • • Spanish language proficiency is a plus for engaging with a broader base of merchant partners

  • • Competitive base salary range of $97,920 to $144,000 USD, with total on-target earnings (base + commission) ranging from $122,400 to $180,000 USD
