  • • Zillow Group, Inc. is seeking a highly strategic and operationally adept Senior Strategy Business Partner to join the Agent Sales organization, specifically within the Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy & Operations team. This pivotal role serves as the internal strategy hub, responsible for architecting business models that deliver significant value to real estate agents while simultaneously building sustainable revenue streams for Zillow.
  • • As a Senior Strategy Business Partner, you will act as the strategic right-hand to Customer Success Management (CSM) segment and channel leaders. Your primary objective will be to empower these leaders to exceed their performance targets through the delivery of data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and robust operational support. This role is crucial for driving performance optimization, fostering operational excellence, and ensuring the successful strategic execution across Zillow's diverse portfolio of Agent solutions.
  • • You will be instrumental in leading critical business rhythms, a key responsibility being the ownership of the Weekly Business Review (WBR) cadence for your aligned segments. This involves meticulously driving pipeline management, tracking performance against key metrics, and ensuring forecasting accuracy. Your role will be to proactively identify performance gaps, surface emerging opportunities, and provide actionable, data-backed recommendations to leadership to steer the business towards its goals.
  • • A significant aspect of this position involves the development and execution of effective CSM plays. You will collaborate closely with Sales and CSM leadership to design and implement innovative strategies and plays aimed at driving product adoption, enhancing customer retention, and ultimately accelerating revenue growth. This requires a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and the levers that influence agent success and loyalty.
  • • Operational improvements are at the core of this role. You will be tasked with identifying process inefficiencies, workflow bottlenecks, and productivity barriers within the sales and customer success organizations. Your responsibility will extend to designing practical solutions and leading cross-functional implementation of operational enhancements that demonstrably improve sales effectiveness and overall team productivity.
  • • Enabling data-driven decision-making is paramount. You will build sophisticated performance insights, conduct in-depth analyses of complex datasets, and deliver strategic insights on key CSM metrics, activation rates, product usage patterns, productivity benchmarks, and leading indicators of success. This analytical rigor will inform strategic choices and operational adjustments.
  • • You will provide critical analytical input and support for strategic planning initiatives. This includes contributing to territory design, headcount planning, and resource allocation decisions through rigorous analysis and scenario modeling, ensuring that strategic plans are grounded in data and aligned with business objectives.
  • • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will partner effectively with various cross-functional teams, including GTM Strategy, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Product, and Finance. Your ability to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and facilitate seamless execution across these departments will be vital.
  • • Facilitating performance management is another core function. You will analyze performance trends, diagnose the root causes of any identified gaps, and develop data-backed recommendations to enhance CSM productivity and drive greater product adoption among agents. This proactive approach to performance improvement is essential for sustained success.
  • • This role demands a consulting mindset, characterized by the ability to structure ambiguous problems, translate complex data into actionable insights, and influence senior leaders through compelling analysis and strategic recommendations. You will be expected to bring a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering measurable business impact.
