📋 Description
- • Senior Systems Engineer (プリセールスSE) role focused on supporting NETGEAR’s growing Enterprise IT and ProAV business in Japan by designing and delivering enterprise networking solutions across wired, wireless, and cloud-managed environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with account managers and channel partners to provide pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts; designing and supporting deployment of enterprise-grade networking solutions; presenting technical solutions to enterprise IT teams and internal stakeholders; supporting transition from pre-sales to post-sales through troubleshooting and escalation management; gathering customer feedback for product improvement; designing secure network architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles; promoting adoption of cloud-managed networking platforms; conducting RF planning and wireless network design using tools like Ekahau; enabling and supporting channel partners through technical training and joint engagement; and maintaining awareness of competitive technologies and market trends.
- • NETGEAR is a global provider of intelligent networking solutions committed to unleashing the full potential of connectivity. The Japan office plays a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the enterprise and ProAV markets, with a hybrid work model based in the Tokyo area and domestic travel required 25–50% of the time.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in enterprise networking, cloud-managed platforms, Zero Trust security, and RF design; develop strong customer and partner relationship management skills; gain experience collaborating across global teams; and contribute directly to product innovation by sharing field insights with Product Management.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or customer-facing technical roles such as プリセールスSE or 技術営業
- • Strong technical knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7), Layer 2/3 networking (switching, VLANs, routing, QoS), and enterprise networking fundamentals
- • Business-level Japanese and Business-level English proficiency, with willingness to use both languages daily
