📋 Description

• As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Olix USA Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s software team in North America from the ground up during a critical growth phase, directly supporting the mission to build the next-generation Optical Tensor Processing Unit (OTPU) that addresses the global AI infrastructure gap.
• You will partner with leadership, hiring managers, and People and Operations teams to own end-to-end recruiting for high-impact roles across engineering, technical leadership, operations, and commercial functions, ensuring a seamless, high-quality hiring process that reflects Olix’s innovative culture and values.
• Day to day, you will manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to close, including crafting compelling job descriptions, executing proactive and creative sourcing strategies to engage hard-to-reach technical talent, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and driving offer negotiations with a focus on closing both junior engineers and senior technical leaders.
• You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine role requirements, strengthen interview techniques, and implement calibration tools and interview training to ensure consistent, fair, and high-bar assessments across all stages of the hiring process.
• A key part of your role will be elevating the candidate experience at every touchpoint — from initial outreach to onboarding — ensuring interactions reflect Olix’s commitment to excellence, respect, and innovation, while helping to define and amplify the company’s employer brand in target technical communities.
• You will continuously evolve the recruiting stack and reporting systems, leveraging data to identify bottlenecks, improve time-to-hire, track DEI metrics, and recommend process improvements as the team scales, including managing relationships with external agencies and sourcers to maintain quality and alignment.
• Olix is building a transformative technology at the intersection of optics and AI, and as a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will gain deep exposure to cutting-edge deep tech and hardware-software integration challenges, developing expertise in recruiting for highly specialized, scarce talent in accelerator and next-generation computing environments.
• This role offers the opportunity to shape the foundational hiring infrastructure of a high-potential startup, directly influencing how Olix attracts, selects, and retains top-tier talent as it scales — giving you ownership over both process and people strategy in a mission-driven, fast-moving environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least half spent in-house at a fast-paced startup or high-growth technology company.
• Proven track record of successfully hiring top technical talent, including roles such as ML engineers, systems architects, digital designers, or other specialized engineering positions.
• Strong sourcing instincts and a creative, proactive approach to identifying and engaging hard-to-reach candidates, particularly in competitive or niche technical markets.
• Ability to confidently partner with senior stakeholders, including hiring managers and leadership, providing data-driven insights and respectfully challenging assumptions when needed.
• Highly organized, responsive, and rigorous in managing recruiting processes, ensuring no detail is overlooked and timelines are consistently met.
• Genuine passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience and building a scalable, values-driven hiring culture that supports long-term organizational success.
