đź“‹ Description

  • • The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner role is critical to ensuring that hiring within the Advisory Practice meets the same high standard of excellence as the strategic work delivered to partners, treating talent acquisition as a strategic function that directly impacts business performance and culture by diagnosing talent gaps and bringing in high-caliber operators who elevate both.
  • • This role owns full-cycle recruiting for high-impact positions—often at the Director level and above—within the Advisory Practice, working directly with senior leaders to define success criteria, translate business needs into hiring strategies, and maintain a rigorous hiring bar in a high-accountability, high-performance environment.
  • • The Advisory Practice is the fastest-growing operating company within Acquisition.com, serving as the growth engine of the business and a core talent pipeline for future leaders across the ecosystem, making this role instrumental in scaling companies from $1M to $100M and beyond.
  • • Day to day, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will own end-to-end hiring outcomes with accountability for both speed and quality of hire, translating business priorities into clear hiring plans, timelines, and role definitions while leading searches from intake to close across ambiguous, high-impact roles.
  • • They will drive process and system improvements by identifying gaps in hiring processes, candidate quality, or alignment, increasing efficiency and signal in interview processes, and partnering with Talent and People teams to enhance systems, reporting, and overall hiring infrastructure.
  • • The role involves partnering closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to define success profiles, scope roles, align on evaluation criteria, assess candidates with strong judgment to distinguish signal from noise, and maintain a consistent hiring bar while influencing decisions and improving calibration across teams.
  • • They will build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines by proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates, developing pipelines for recurring and critical roles to reduce reactive hiring, and deeply understanding where top performers originate and how to attract them.
  • • During periods of lower hiring volume in the Advisory Practice, the role extends to supporting broader hiring and talent priorities across Acquisition.com, ensuring consistency in hiring quality and contributing where the business needs it most.
  • • The person in this role will learn to operate as a strategic talent advisor in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial environment, gaining deep exposure to founder-led businesses and the nuances of scaling talent in high-growth, high-accountability settings.
  • • They will achieve measurable impact by reducing time-to-fill, improving hiring manager calibration, increasing talent density, and contributing to a competitive advantage through superior talent quality that strengthens decision-making and long-term business performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8-10 years of full cycle recruiting experience within a high growth or startup environment
  • • Proven track record of owning hiring outcomes across multiple roles or business units, partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to define roles and drive hiring decisions, and successfully filling complex or ambiguous roles
  • • Experience operating in fast paced, high growth environments where hiring needs evolve quickly, structure is still being built, and both speed and quality are required
  • • Demonstrated ability to source and close high quality, often passive candidates, calibrate talent effectively, and influence hiring decisions while maintaining a consistent hiring bar
  • • Experience using modern recruiting tools and systems to manage pipelines and drive efficient hiring processes
