- • We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Senior Talent Partner to lead and scale our global technical hiring function. This pivotal role offers significant ownership and influence, allowing you to shape the future of our engineering team. You will be instrumental in attracting, assessing, and hiring top-tier engineering talent worldwide, ensuring we maintain our high bar for quality and innovation as we scale.
- • Your core responsibility will be to own the end-to-end global engineering recruitment lifecycle. This involves not just filling roles, but strategically redesigning and continuously improving our technical interview processes to be rigorous, fair, and aligned with our growth trajectory. You will act as a trusted advisor to our founders and engineering leadership across all regions, developing a deep understanding of their specific needs and hiring priorities. This partnership is crucial for identifying the right talent to drive our technological advancements.
- • Key responsibilities in this role include:
- • **End-to-End Recruitment Ownership:** Take full ownership of all global engineering recruitment efforts, from initial sourcing and candidate engagement through to offer negotiation and onboarding. This includes managing high-volume requisitions while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience.
- • **Strategic Interview Process Design:** Lead the redesign and continuous enhancement of our technical interview processes across all engineering disciplines and geographies. This involves developing structured interview guides, assessment methodologies, and calibration frameworks to ensure consistency, fairness, and effectiveness in evaluating candidates against our performance and levelling frameworks.
- • **Deep Leadership Partnership:** Collaborate closely with founders, VP of Engineering, Engineering Managers, and individual engineers globally. You will build strong relationships to gain a comprehensive understanding of role requirements, team dynamics, and strategic hiring priorities.
- • **Global Talent Market Intelligence:** Develop and maintain detailed global technical market maps. Proactively identify and engage with high-quality engineering talent across diverse geographies, building robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- • **Data-Driven Hiring Decisions:** Champion an evidence-based approach to hiring. Ensure all hiring decisions are structured, objective, and aligned with our established performance metrics and levelling frameworks, promoting a culture of data-informed talent acquisition.
- • **Elevating Hiring Quality and Candidate Experience:** Continuously strive to raise the bar on the quality of engineering hires while meticulously balancing the demands of speed, scale, and an exceptional candidate experience. This includes implementing best practices in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and candidate communication.
- • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with other members of the People team, including HR, Operations, and Compensation & Benefits, to ensure a seamless and integrated talent acquisition strategy that supports the overall business objectives.
- • **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Integration:** Actively embed DEI principles into all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing strategies to interview panel composition and evaluation criteria, to build a more diverse and inclusive engineering team.
- • **Onboarding and Retention Support:** While not directly responsible for onboarding, you will play a key role in ensuring new hires have a positive initial experience, contributing to early retention and successful integration into the engineering team.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of dedicated experience in technical recruitment, with a primary focus on hiring engineers.
- • Proven success in hiring engineers within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- • Strong understanding of various technical engineering roles, including software development, data science, and infrastructure.
- • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, or significantly improving technical interview processes.
- • Highly organized, data-driven, and adept at managing multiple complex recruitment projects simultaneously.
- • Confident and influential stakeholder partner capable of advising and challenging senior leaders.
- • Previous global or multi-region hiring experience is highly regarded.
