- • This is a critical 12-month fixed-term contract role for a Senior Tax Analyst, based remotely in Portugal, supporting the Tax Director and Tax Manager in Ireland.
- • You will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day tax operations for the EMEA region, ensuring compliance and accuracy across various tax functions.
- • Take ownership of the international tax compliance workstream, meticulously preparing and filing corporate income tax returns for assigned EMEA entities accurately and on time.
- • Prepare and diligently review Value Added Tax (VAT) returns for all EMEA entities, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- • Provide essential support to the Tax Director and Tax Manager by addressing diverse tax issues, queries, and contributing to ongoing projects within the EMEA region.
- • Play a key role in calculating the tax provision for EMEA entities, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- • Assist in the preparation of US GAAP to Local GAAP differences specifically for tax provisioning purposes, bridging international accounting standards.
- • Actively contribute to the company’s global transfer pricing initiative, which includes the preparation and documentation of master files, local files, Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR), and CBCR Notifications.
- • Collaborate closely with external service providers and internal team members to manage R&D tax credit and grant applications across various countries, optimizing tax benefits.
- • Continuously develop and deepen your general international tax technical expertise, alongside acquiring specialized knowledge of tax law changes within the EMEA region.
- • Work collaboratively with external tax advisors to develop and document positions on complex international income tax matters.
- • Support the Tax Director and Tax Manager in managing local tax audits, striving for timely and efficient resolutions that minimize tax liabilities.
- • Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries from business units and foreign entities regarding tax matters, providing clear and accurate information.
- • Partner with the broader tax team to implement strategic tax projects and planning initiatives, contributing to the company's overall tax efficiency and compliance.
