📋 Description
- • As a Senior Tax Specialist at Numeral SAS, you will lead tax strategy, operational improvements, and special filings while driving AI-powered automation to eliminate tax compliance burdens for digital businesses.
- • You will inform strategy for core tax filings and growth areas, guide complex special filings for key clients, champion AI and automation in tax workflows, ensure compliance by troubleshooting discrepancies and researching regulatory changes, and partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership to align tax operations with business goals.
- • Numeral is the largest and fastest-growing AI-native tax solution, serving over 2,500 paying customers and tripling revenue annually since its 2023 founding, backed by $57M from top investors including Benchmark and Y-Combinator.
- • You will deepen your expertise in AI-driven tax automation, influence product direction through cross-functional collaboration, and play a pivotal role in scaling a high-impact fintech startup at the forefront of regulatory innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of demonstrated domain expertise in U.S. indirect tax
- • Experience in a startup that scaled and a fast-paced environment
- • Strong analytical and Excel/data skills
- • Strong communication skills
- • Proven ability to work cross functionally with product and engineering
- • Experience in e-commerce, SaaS or Fintech is highly preferred
