📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, automating over 50k monthly chats and >70% of inbound sales and service requests.
• Partner directly with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in LLM-driven systems.
• Serve as the primary technical translator between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices and platform-wide standards for scalability and reliability.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous A/B testing, data analysis, and iterative experimentation.
• Collaborate with OpenAI to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities directly into the ChatGPT app.
• Own the strategic direction of AI systems that redefine car ownership by automating fragmented, legacy processes in a $2T industry.
• Translate complex technical concepts about API design, system architecture, and model behavior into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and scale production-grade AI products from strategic concepts, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and user experience benchmarks.
• Dive into data using SQL to validate hypotheses, answer product questions independently, and inform product decisions with empirical evidence.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in AI workflows and proposing data-backed solutions that enhance automation and customer outcomes.
• Work at the intersection of applied AI, product management, and engineering to pioneer new capabilities in LLMs, agents, and human-in-the-loop feedback systems.
• Maintain deep familiarity with the latest LLM releases, benchmarking new models, and rapidly prototyping custom workflows to stay ahead of industry advancements.
• Define and own key metrics for AI system performance, including automation rate, customer satisfaction, cost per interaction, and response latency.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to align product vision with technical feasibility, ensuring AI systems are both innovative and operationally sustainable.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical product management or management consulting at a fast-paced startup
• Proven experience with modern LLM systems, including prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and guardrail implementation
• Demonstrated ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead implementation of AI platform standards
• Track record of turning complex, strategic AI ideas into scalable, production-grade products
• Comfort with SQL and data-driven decision-making to validate hypotheses and drive product improvements
• Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to engage in technical conversations about API design and architecture
