- • As a Senior Technical Product Manager on the Core SDK team at Smallpdf AG (operating as Pdftools), you will drive the vision and strategy for PDF Tools’ Core SDK offering, expanding its footprint across the customer journey and enabling developers worldwide to integrate reliable PDF functionality into their applications.
- • You will conduct qualitative, quantitative, and market research to identify feature and integration opportunities, translate strategy into roadmaps and epics, serve as product owner for your team, and collaborate with engineering, design, and other product managers to deliver and maintain high-impact developer tools.
- • You will join a mission-driven, Switzerland-based company with over 30 years of PDF innovation, serving more than 650 customers across 70+ countries, known for its inclusive, supportive culture and commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in developer-focused product management, influence the evolution of PDF technology used in mission-critical workflows, lead cross-functional delivery from concept to launch, and grow your impact through ownership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with world-class engineering teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and a minimum of two years working as an engineer
- • 3+ years of hands-on product management experience, preferably in working on products for developers (SDK or similar)
- • Experience building tools, infrastructure, or framework for developers
- • Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements from many sources and build a compelling product vision
- • Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and drive parties with conflicting priorities to a decision
- • Experience in leading product delivery from inception to launch and maintenance
- • Excellent communicator with both teammates and stakeholders outside the team
- • Fluent in English, German is a plus
