đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Product Development Acceleration at Zillow Group, you will lead and build AI-enabled tools that help teams learn faster and make better product decisions, operating as a senior individual contributor and primary builder of a newly-established portfolio within Zillow Research & Insights (ZRI).
- • You will define the roadmap in partnership with leadership, build AI-powered internal tools that bring research into everyday product development workflows, and ship these tools to the organization, driving adoption, measuring impact, and ensuring durability over time.
- • You will operate as a connective layer across Research, Product, Engineering, and Design, identifying and mitigating technical, organizational, and dependency risks, measuring success through usage, reliability, and learning impact metrics, and iterating based on evidence.
- • You will architect, build, and iterate AI-native tools using modern AI coding environments and agentic frameworks without dedicated engineering headcount, making technical architecture and feature prioritization decisions that ensure scalability, usability, and long-term durability with embedded responsible AI practices and data privacy safeguards.
- • You will lead cross-functional change management to embed the portfolio’s capabilities into existing operational rhythms (planning, documentation, review processes), reducing friction and ensuring durable integration.
- • You will contribute directly to Zillow’s mission of grounding critical decisions in evidence by pairing fast, activation-ready insights with deep foundational research that shapes product strategy across a multi-year horizon.
- • You will help Zillow understand who its consumers are, what they need, and how well Zillow is delivering on that promise, ensuring research-owned AI solutions are widely adopted across internal teams to help them understand what to solve, when to solve it, and how to move forward with confidence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Technical leader with experience using modern AI tools to solve business problems; demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining durable internal software systems that serve internal business users.
- • Strong technical fluency in applied AI and system design, with hands-on experience using modern AI coding environments (e.g., Replit, Claude Code) to prototype and scale solutions.
- • Able to independently lead and build in ambiguous environments, learning quickly to harness evolving AI capabilities.
- • Demonstrated fluency across product, program, and technical domains, with the ability to flex across these areas depending on program needs with a focus on scalable operating models.
- • Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs in high-ambiguity environments, influencing without formal authority.
- • Data-driven and pragmatic, using metrics, reliability indicators, and adoption signals to iteratively improve system performance and impact.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary range of $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 annually in select states (CA, CT, MD, MA, NJ, NY, WA, DC) and $141,200.00 - $225,600.00 annually in others (CO, HI, IL, MN, NV, OH, RI, VT).
- • Eligibility for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location.
- • Remote work flexibility — employees may work from any physical location of their choice within the 50 United States (with limited exceptions).
- • Opportunity to work at a company recognized as one of FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® in 2025 and included on the PEOPLE Companies That Care® 2025 list.
- • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment with equal opportunity employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
