Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact security and infrastructure programs that protect Collectors’ global ecosystem of grading, vaulting, and marketplace services for millions of collectibles.
  • • Translate complex security requirements into clear, prioritized roadmaps that balance customer experience, business growth, and risk mitigation across coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, tickets, autographs, and memorabilia.
  • • Drive cross-functional alignment among Engineering, Design, Product, Cybersecurity, and Business stakeholders, ensuring every initiative has measurable milestones, transparent budgets, and a security-first mindset from day one.
  • • Establish and evangelize program governance frameworks that scale with the company’s rapid international expansion—Santa Ana, Jersey City, Toronto, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris—while preserving agility for autonomous delivery teams.
  • • Champion best-in-class communications: craft executive-ready status briefings, publish real-time dashboards, and facilitate quarterly reviews that celebrate wins, surface blockers, and keep security posture front-and-center for leadership and investors.
  • • Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and configure Jira workflows that map epics, stories, and dependencies to strategic OKRs, enabling engineers to ship secure code faster without sacrificing quality.
  • • Partner with the cybersecurity team to embed threat modeling, secure coding standards, penetration-test findings, and compliance controls (PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001) into every release pipeline.
  • • Design lightweight yet rigorous processes for vendor risk assessments, cloud infrastructure reviews, and third-party integrations, ensuring new partners meet Collectors’ security bar before they touch production data.
  • • Own budget forecasting and resource allocation for security initiatives, negotiating scope trade-offs with finance and engineering leadership to maximize ROI while minimizing exposure.
  • • Support DevOps and SRE teams in automating security guardrails—CI/CD scanning, IaC policy checks, secrets management—so that scaling to new regions never introduces new vulnerabilities.
  • • Serve as the voice of the customer inside security discussions, translating collector pain points into backlog items that improve trust, transparency, and speed of grading and vaulting workflows.
  • • Mentor junior TPMs and analysts, building a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety, and relentless focus on customer value.
  • • Contribute to long-term strategic planning: evaluate emerging threats, assess new technologies (confidential computing, zero-trust architectures, blockchain provenance), and recommend investments that keep Collectors ahead of adversaries and regulators.
  • • Foster a fun, inclusive environment—organize hackathons, lunch-and-learns, and cross-site knowledge exchanges that celebrate both security wins and the passion of collectors worldwide.
