  • • As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Harvey AI Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s technical talent foundation during a critical growth phase, directly contributing to the mission of transforming legal and professional services through frontier agentic AI.
  • • You will own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles in San Francisco, partnering with engineering and product leadership to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent that aligns with Harvey’s ambitious vision and high-performance culture.
  • • Day to day, you will partner closely with technical leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, translate business goals into talent strategies, and provide data-informed guidance on market trends, role scoping, and interview process optimization.
  • • You will build and nurture a robust pipeline of technical talent through proactive sourcing, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche communities, while maintaining consistent engagement with passive candidates to support both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • • You will advise hiring managers on compensation benchmarks, market dynamics, and effective talent acquisition strategies, ensuring offers are competitive and aligned with both company budgets and candidate expectations.
  • • You will identify and implement process improvements to streamline recruiting workflows, enhance interview coordination, and reduce time-to-hire, while ensuring data integrity and hygiene in the Ashby ATS through accurate tracking, tagging, and reporting.
  • • You will mentor and support junior recruiters and hiring managers by sharing best practices, conducting training sessions, and modeling high-performance recruiting behaviors to elevate team-wide execution.
  • • You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives targeting elite passive candidates across software engineering, ML/AI, data engineering, and infrastructure roles, using personalized outreach and employer branding to differentiate Harvey in a competitive talent market.
  • • You will collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops, engineering, and executive teams to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals, DEI objectives, and long-term workforce planning.
  • • You will help shape Harvey’s employer brand by representing the company at tech events, university campuses, and online forums, showcasing the impact of working on transformative AI for professional services.
  • • You will contribute to a culture of ownership and intensity by embracing ambiguity, taking initiative on process improvements, and demonstrating relentless focus on candidate experience and hiring quality.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in technical recruiting for AI-native companies, gain exposure to cutting-edge AI product development, and grow as a strategic talent partner in a high-growth, mission-driven environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology or startup environments
  • • Proven ability to build and scale technical teams, particularly in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML domains
  • • Strong partner management skills with demonstrated success as a trusted advisor to technical hiring managers and leadership
  • • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (preferably Ashby) and recruiting tools, with a commitment to data-driven decision making and process optimization
  • • Experience leading strategic sourcing campaigns and engaging passive candidates through personalized, multi-channel outreach
  • • Ability to mentor and elevate team performance through coaching, knowledge sharing, and leading by example
