To fuel our ambitious growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our mission. This role is pivotal in scaling our engineering and technical teams, the very engine that powers Standard Bots' groundbreaking work.
  • • As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will be entrusted with the full-cycle ownership of technical recruitment. This means you will be deeply involved in every stage of the hiring process, from initial sourcing and candidate engagement through to offer negotiation and closing. Your primary focus will be on attracting and securing top-tier talent for our critical engineering, manufacturing, and operations departments. You will partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs, define what constitutes an exceptional candidate, and collaboratively calibrate interview plans to ensure a rigorous and efficient selection process.
  • • This position is ideal for a seasoned recruiter who has not only navigated but thrived in hyper-growth startup environments. You understand the unique challenges and demands of hiring when priorities are fluid, job descriptions are living documents, and urgent needs can arise with little notice. Your ability to adapt, read between the lines of evolving requirements, and consistently deliver high-caliber candidates will be crucial to our success. While your expertise will be primarily focused on technical roles, Standard Bots operates with an 'All-Hands-On-Deck' mentality. Therefore, a willingness to contribute to filling roles across other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and General & Administrative functions, is highly valued and essential for team cohesion and effectiveness.
  • • A key aspect of this role is proactive pipeline building. You will be responsible for identifying critical technical roles and developing robust talent pipelines well in advance of immediate needs, preventing 'fire drill' scenarios. This involves continuously exploring and implementing creative, often unconventional, sourcing strategies and crafting compelling outreach messages that resonate with passive candidates. While leveraging AI-driven tools for efficiency is encouraged, resourcefulness and a 'scrappy' approach to finding talent are equally important. You will be adept at managing the entire recruitment process, ensuring it is tight, efficient, and consistently delivers a positive candidate experience, even under pressure.
  • • Beyond sourcing and process management, you will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and the broader leadership team. You will bring structure to ambiguous situations, identify and address potential bottlenecks in the hiring workflow, and contribute to refining job descriptions and interview criteria. Maintaining impeccable data hygiene within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is paramount. Accurate and timely data is vital for understanding hiring trends, identifying areas for improvement, and making informed decisions. Your commitment to clean data will directly impact our ability to analyze our hiring funnel, optimize processes, and report on key recruitment metrics.
  • • Delivering an outstanding candidate experience is non-negotiable. Even when internal processes are moving at a rapid pace, you will ensure that every candidate interaction is organized, thoughtful, and reflects the innovative and human-centric culture of Standard Bots. This includes clear communication, timely feedback, and a genuine effort to make candidates feel valued and informed throughout their journey.
  • • Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to consistently attract and hire exceptional technical talent, reduce time-to-fill metrics, maintain a high hiring bar, and build sustainable talent pipelines. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of Standard Bots by ensuring we have the right people in place to drive our mission of building the next generation of robotic automation solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a significant portion in startup or high-growth environments.
  • • Proven track record of successfully hiring engineers and other technical talent (e.g., software, robotics, electrical, mechanical engineering) in competitive markets.
  • • Strong outbound sourcing skills and experience managing high-volume, concurrent recruitment efforts.
  • • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where priorities can shift rapidly.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with hiring managers and candidates.
