- • Wealth Management (AI Residency) role at Mentis Technology Solutions Inc. focuses on bridging institutional investment expertise with frontier AI systems to improve how models reason and make decisions in high-stakes financial contexts.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and iterating realistic prompts to test AI-generated insights, comparing human vs. machine judgment in asset allocation and financial planning, designing frameworks that translate practitioner workflows into AI challenges, and constructing expert benchmarks using real-world portfolio analyses and advisory materials.
- • The team operates across London and San Francisco, combining deep asset management experience from firms like Lazard and Partners Group with machine learning and applied AI research, collaborating with leading AI labs to advance model reasoning in wealth management.
- • Participants will gain hands-on experience applying AI to wealth management, deepen their understanding of AI reasoning in financial contexts, contribute to benchmarking frontier AI systems, and build expertise at the intersection of traditional finance and artificial intelligence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager, or CIO at an RIA, private bank, or family office
- • Experience managing complex client relationships with meaningful AUM ($5M+ households preferred)
- • Deep familiarity with asset allocation, manager selection, alternatives, tax-aware investing, and estate/trust planning considerations
- • Ability to articulate investment rationale and financial planning strategy clearly and concisely in writing
- • CFP, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent designation a plus
- • Genuine intellectual curiosity about the application of AI in wealth management and private client advisory
