- • Abridge AI is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare through advanced AI, and we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Technical Sourcer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is instrumental in identifying, engaging, and cultivating relationships with exceptional technical talent who will shape the future of healthcare AI. Our Engineering and Product organizations are building world-class technology at the intersection of healthcare and machine learning, and this position is critical to fueling our leadership pipeline and ensuring we attract the brightest minds in the industry.
- • As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you will be a key player within our recruiting team, responsible for strategically sourcing and building robust pipelines of high-impact leaders across various technical domains. Your primary focus will be on mapping the leadership landscape within software engineering, infrastructure, machine learning, and product management. You will meticulously identify where the next generation of technical and product leadership talent is emerging, ensuring Abridge remains competitive in attracting top-tier professionals.
- • This role demands a strategic partner who can collaborate effectively with recruiters and business leaders. You will provide invaluable market insights that directly inform our strategies for attracting and engaging senior technical talent. Your expertise will help us understand current market trends, identify emerging talent pools, and refine our approach to reach passive candidates who are leaders in their respective fields.
- • You will be tasked with sourcing for critical roles across Product & Data Science, identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with senior technical talent. This includes specialists in software development, data science, machine learning engineering, AI research, and product management. Your ability to connect with these individuals on a technical and professional level will be paramount.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves Market & Org Mapping. You will develop deep organizational intelligence on top companies within the AI and healthcare technology sectors. This includes charting leadership structures, understanding team compositions, and identifying reporting lines across both engineering and product functions. This intelligence will be crucial for strategic talent acquisition and competitive analysis.
- • You will act as a Talent Strategist, partnering closely with recruiters, engineering leaders, and product executives. Together, you will define ideal leadership profiles, calibrate on the scope and requirements of roles, and refine sourcing strategies for high-impact technical and product leadership positions. Your input will directly influence our hiring success for critical senior roles.
- • Candidate Engagement is a core responsibility. You will craft thoughtful, personalized outreach messages designed to inspire engineering and product leaders to explore Abridge’s groundbreaking mission and vision. The goal is to build long-term, authentic relationships that position Abridge as a premier destination for top-tier leadership talent, even for candidates who may not be actively looking.
- • You will be responsible for Pipeline Development, building and managing a steady pipeline of both current and future leadership talent. This proactive approach will ensure we have a strong bench of qualified candidates to meet both near-term hiring needs and long-term strategic objectives across our engineering and product departments.
- • Delivering Talent Insights is another key function. You will provide actionable market intelligence on leadership talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive movements within the engineering and product landscapes. This data-driven approach will empower the recruiting team and leadership to make informed decisions.
- • Operational Excellence is expected. You will maintain clear, organized records and progress tracking within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Ashby. Consistent communication regarding pipeline health, sourcing performance, and candidate engagement metrics is essential for team alignment and success.
- • This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in our San Francisco office, offering flexibility for remote work on other days. This structure allows for collaborative in-person engagement while maintaining work-life balance.
- • The ideal candidate possesses a researcher’s mindset, driven by curiosity and tenacity to uncover hidden talent and creatively find new pathways to connect with passive candidates. You understand organizational design and technical team structures, and you are excited to connect exceptional people to a mission-driven company that is making a tangible impact in healthcare. Your ability to go beyond simply filling roles and to design long-term talent mapping and pipeline strategies will set you apart.
