📋 Description
- • Allica Bank is on a mission to support established Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), a segment historically underserved by both traditional banks and modern fintech solutions. As the UK's fastest-growing company and the fastest-growing fintech firm ever, Allica is rapidly expanding its innovative Growth Finance product, designed to provide working capital funding between £1 million and £10 million, primarily through asset-based lending.
- • As a Senior Transaction Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless onboarding of new clients and introducers, acting as a crucial link between our sales teams, external legal counsel, and advisory firms. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously coordinate and oversee the entire client onboarding process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all regulatory and organizational standards.
- • You will proactively engage with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to manage the end-to-end onboarding journey. This includes conducting thorough credit searches, facilitating Know Your Customer (KYC) approvals, preparing or meticulously reviewing essential documentation, and providing operational support to ensure a smooth first drawdown.
- • A key aspect of this role involves contributing to the continuous improvement of Growth Finance procedures and policies. You will be expected to identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the client experience, and ensure our operational framework remains best-in-class.
- • You will be responsible for managing and diarising critical facility milestones, proactively ensuring that all necessary client information is obtained in a timely manner. This information must be compliantly saved, accurately recorded, and thoroughly reviewed to maintain data integrity and support ongoing client management.
- • When required, you will assist in the preparation of client drawdown requests, ensuring that all relevant internal departments receive the necessary information promptly and accurately to facilitate timely fund disbursement.
- • This role also involves contributing to the production of comprehensive monthly portfolio reports. These reports will provide an accurate and detailed summary of client financial performance, covenant compliance status, and collateral overview, offering critical insights to senior management.
- • You will be entrusted with the responsibility of escalating any new or increased client or debtor risks to the Senior Relationship Manager without delay, ensuring proactive risk management and timely intervention.
- • Effective collaboration with various internal departments, including Risk, Operations, and Finance, is essential. You will foster strong working relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and maintain awareness of any changes in bank policies or processes that may impact transactions.
- • Furthermore, you will assist in maintaining and nurturing our introducer base, which comprises corporate finance professionals, debt advisory firms, and selected specialist brokers, contributing to the continued growth of our deal pipeline.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal documentation related to business finance and relevant terminology. You will demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple complex deals simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- • As a natural team player, you will excel at developing strong working relationships across the organization. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be vital in liaising with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a prerequisite for this role, enabling you to effectively manage data, prepare reports, and present information.
- • You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or accuracy. The ability to interpret financial information, including balance sheets and cash flow forecasts, is crucial.
- • A solid understanding of the operational aspects of business finance, including receivables and Asset-Based Lending (ABL), is required. Familiarity with the legal processes and logistical requirements involved in corporate transactions and acquisitions will be highly advantageous.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing fintech bank, contributing directly to the success of our innovative Growth Finance product and supporting the vital SME sector of the UK economy.
