📋 Description

• Senior Underwriter - Middle Market Property role is critical to TIH Insurance Services, LLC’s growth and risk management, responsible for underwriting new and renewal business while ensuring compliance, profitability, and strong client relationships in the middle market property segment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting production goals, underwriting new and renewal business, supervising team(s), developing client relationships, marketing program products, communicating with producers, approving/disapproving endorsements, monitoring accounts for compliance, tracking production and quality metrics, handling policy servicing requests, reviewing inspection reports, maintaining file documentation standards, and maintaining required insurance licenses.
• The team operates within CRC Group’s middle market property division, collaborating with producers, agents, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored insurance solutions while adhering to underwriting authority and company guidelines.
• In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in commercial multi-line underwriting, enhance leadership and analytical skills, master company-specific automation tools (Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, Rackley ISO Rating Software), and contribute to strategic risk assessment and retention initiatives while maintaining industry knowledge and professional licensure.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Five years of experience as an active Underwriter or seven years of experience in the insurance industry
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance as necessary
• Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
• Ability to use company automation including Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, Rackley ISO Rating Software
