- • Senior Underwriter role focused on underwriting new and renewal business, approving policy changes, managing workload, and controlling written business up to binding according to company guidelines and procedures.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting production goals, developing client relationships, marketing program products, communicating with producers, approving/disapproving endorsements, monitoring accounts for compliance, reviewing policy servicing requests and inspection reports, maintaining file documentation standards, and ensuring underwriting authority compliance.
- • Part of TIH Insurance Services, LLC (a member of CRC Group), a provider of specialty insurance solutions supporting agents and carriers with tailored underwriting expertise and market access.
- • Opportunity to lead production/underwriting teams, deepen expertise in commercial multi-line underwriting, influence risk assessment strategies, and achieve professional growth through leadership and complex risk placement.
🎯 Requirements
- • College degree or appropriate insurance designation required
- • Five years of experience as an active Underwriter or seven years of experience in the insurance industry
- • Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance as necessary
- • Ability to use company automation including Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, Rackley ISO Rating Software
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Leadership and team collaboration abilities
