• • Senior Underwriting Specialist responsible for evaluating and underwriting new and renewal business in accordance with company guidelines and risk appetite, playing a critical role in risk assessment and policy management.
• • Day-to-day duties include developing risk assessment models, collaborating with actuaries and agents, analyzing supplementary reports (MVR, loss history, inspections), ensuring regulatory compliance, and communicating underwriting decisions to internal and external stakeholders.
• • Part of Summit, a member of Great American Insurance Group headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, with regional offices in Baton Rouge and Gainesville, providing workers’ compensation programs to thousands of employers across the Southeast.
