📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end user experience for Arbiter’s AI-powered care-orchestration platform, translating complex clinical, financial, and policy data into elegant, life-saving workflows for physicians, nurses, administrators, and patients.
• • Lead generative and evaluative research with a diverse set of healthcare stakeholders—ranging from ER charge nurses to revenue-cycle analysts—using contextual inquiry, diary studies, and remote usability sessions to surface unmet needs and map nuanced clinical workflows.
• • Translate research insights into strategic UX deliverables: information architectures that tame labyrinthine EMR data, user flows that reduce click-paths from 12 steps to 3, and interaction models that surface AI recommendations at the exact moment of clinical decision-making.
• • Produce high-fidelity prototypes in Figma or Framer that simulate real-time AI suggestions, drag-and-drop care-gap prioritization, and multi-patient dashboards; pressure-test these prototypes with clinicians in live hospital environments and iterate within days, not weeks.
• • Evolve our nascent design system—color tokens that meet WCAG 2.2 AA, component libraries built for both light and dark clinical themes, and data-viz patterns that make 10,000-row FHIR bundles legible—ensuring every new feature ships with pixel-perfect consistency.
• • Run weekly usability sessions in partnership with our Clinical Informatics team, synthesizing SUS scores, task-completion rates, and qualitative feedback into concise, actionable insights that directly influence the product roadmap.
• • Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with React/Next.js engineers during sprint planning, translating motion specs into Framer variables and CSS keyframes so that micro-interactions survive the handoff intact.
• • Champion accessibility and inclusive design across the org: conduct quarterly audits, deliver lunch-and-learns on designing for cognitive load in high-stress clinical settings, and embed a11y acceptance criteria into every Jira ticket.
• • Mentor mid-level and junior designers through weekly design critiques, pairing sessions, and career-roadmap reviews; help define leveling rubrics that raise the bar for craft across the entire design org.
• • Represent design in customer advisory boards and sales demos, articulating how UX decisions reduce physician burnout and unlock millions in value-based-care reimbursements.
• • Contribute to hiring by crafting portfolio-prompts that surface systems-thinking and ethical AI design; interview candidates and design onboarding experiences that get new designers shipping meaningful work in their first 30 days.
