- • As a Senior Vendor Performance Manager at Phil, Inc., you will be at the forefront of optimizing our critical partnerships, playing a pivotal role in the success of our innovative health-tech platform. You will be instrumental in managing the entire lifecycle of our enterprise vendor engagements, from initial launch through to successful closeout, ensuring operational excellence and fostering strong, productive relationships. This role demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to drive tangible improvements in performance and satisfaction.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve direct, high-level interface with our enterprise vendors. You will meticulously manage key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance vendor capabilities. This includes overseeing quality assurance, driving operational efficiency, managing inventory effectively, and ensuring all contractual obligations and performance metrics are met and exceeded.
- • A significant part of your role will be to provide regular, clear, and concise updates to stakeholders. This will be achieved through various channels, including email, in-person meetings, and virtual presentations via Zoom. You will communicate vital information regarding vendor milestones, capacity, performance metrics, accounts receivable (AR) status, and the timely delivery of all agreed-upon deliverables. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable insights will be crucial for informed decision-making.
- • Problem-solving is at the core of this position. You will be tasked with investigating and resolving a wide range of issues that may arise within vendor relationships. This requires a systematic approach to identifying root causes, developing innovative solutions, and implementing process improvements. Your success will be measured by your ability to foster clear and effective communication channels with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure swift and satisfactory resolutions.
- • You will act as a key liaison, capturing and meticulously documenting requirements from both external vendor stakeholders and internal teams. This information is vital for supporting vendor growth, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring alignment with Phil's strategic objectives. Your ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements will directly impact the scalability and effectiveness of our vendor network.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with internal subject matter experts across various departments to address vendor inquiries, provide support for ad hoc requests, and ensure a seamless experience throughout the vendor lifecycle. By building and maintaining strong working relationships with these internal experts, you will facilitate a unified approach to vendor management.
- • A critical aspect of this role is the continuous streamlining of processes. You will be expected to develop and implement more efficient methods for gathering, sorting, and accessing data related to vendor performance. This includes leveraging analytical tools and your own ingenuity to create more agile and effective data management systems, ultimately improving operational throughput and decision-making speed.
- • Building and nurturing robust working relationships with internal subject matter experts is essential. You will also work cross-functionally with other departments, including operations, product, and engineering, to collectively enhance vendor performance and, by extension, elevate the patient experience. Your ability to foster a collaborative environment will be key to achieving Phil's mission.
- • Your ultimate goal will be to drive overall vendor satisfaction, encouraging their continued engagement and enthusiastic participation in future program launches. By demonstrating value and fostering a partnership approach, you will ensure our vendors see Phil as a strategic ally, eager to grow with us.
- • You will lead critical vendor meetings, facilitating productive discussions that drive ongoing vendor growth and performance optimization. This includes preparing agendas, guiding conversations, documenting action items, and ensuring follow-through on commitments. Internally, you will also facilitate discussions to ensure alignment and support for vendor initiatives.
- • A significant component of your role involves the in-depth analysis of large datasets. You will utilize these insights to pinpoint the root causes of performance issues, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations for program, vendor, and network-wide improvements. Your analytical prowess will be a driving force behind Phil's continuous evolution and success in the competitive health-tech landscape.
