- • The Senior Virtualization Specialist Solutions Architect provides deep technical sales support for Red Hat’s Go-To-Market strategies around OpenShift and OpenStack on bare metal infrastructure, enabling customers to achieve operational efficiency, developer productivity, and business continuity through modern container and virtualization platforms.
- • Day to day, the role involves working with Account Executives and Sales Specialists to identify adoption barriers, designing and executing tailored OpenShift/OpenStack solutions, partnering with customer champions, collaborating with product teams on feedback, assisting leadership with GTM strategy evolution, and facilitating pre/post-sales activities like proofs of concept, technical deep dives, and community outreach.
- • The role sits within Red Hat’s Hybrid Platforms Business Unit, working closely with sales, customer success, consulting services, and partner teams to ensure positive customer experiences that drive revenue and renewals, while contributing to feature testing and roadmap validation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native architectures; sharpen your executive presence and technical storytelling; influence Red Hat’s product direction through customer feedback; and become a trusted advisor who bridges technical depth with business value to accelerate customer success on OpenShift and OpenStack.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience with containers and container management tools; VMware vSphere, Xen, KVM, Docker; virtualization infrastructure; enterprise automation; cloud computing; and delivering technical presentations to live audiences
- • Deep datacenter experience with integration, storage, and compute expertise
- • Strong networking expertise with SDN configuration and experience
- • Knowledge of authentication systems and RBAC integration into infrastructure platforms
- • High availability and disaster recovery expertise with proven design and implementation track record
- • Kubernetes knowledge and experience at scale
- • Understanding of generalized application architectures in virtualization or containerization on bare metal
- • Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions
- • Executive presence with public speaking skills
- • Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese is a plus
