📋 Description

• As a Senior Workday Security Administrator at Cambium Learning Group, Inc., you will play a critical role in shaping and evolving the organization’s Workday security strategy to support enterprise financial and human capital management, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate data while enabling operational efficiency and informed strategic decision-making.
• You will work within a fast-moving, iterative delivery environment, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, release, and hypercare—while providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members and collaborating across multiple projects to balance priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• The Security team at Cambium Learning Group is integral to enabling secure, scalable, and compliant use of Workday across HCM, Financial, and Payroll modules, partnering closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational goals and user needs in a remote-first culture that values flexibility, trust, and results-driven collaboration.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Workday security architecture, gain hands-on experience with bi-annual platform releases and change management processes, and develop leadership skills through mentoring peers and influencing enterprise-wide access policies that support internal controls audits and regulatory compliance.
• You will become a trusted advisor in securing Workday web services, configuring ISUs/ISSGs, managing authentication policies (SAML SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, IP restrictions), and implementing least-privileged access models, while contributing to documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system functionality and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Workday security administration experience with mastery in creating, maintaining, and auditing security groups (user-based, role-based, constrained, unconstrained, intersection, segmented, etc.)
• Proficient in configuring ISUs/ISSGs and their domain and business process security policies, including securing Workday web services, and strong working knowledge of managing authentication policy, SAML SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication, OAuth 2.0, IP restriction, certificates and keys
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience, with enterprise experience in ensuring consistent, scalable, and least-privileged access aligned with organizational policies and compliance requirements
