- • Senior Workplace Manager at Vercel Inc., responsible for owning daily operations across London and Berlin co-working offices, leading the London office transition from co-working to a permanent space, and serving as the senior on-the-ground presence for EMEA workplace strategy.
- • Day-to-day duties include managing access control, vendor relationships, food programs, facilities, and general services; coordinating office search and build-out; designing employee experience initiatives like cultural programming and events; serving as regional real estate point of contact; traveling quarterly to Berlin; and partnering with IT, Security, Legal, Finance, and People teams on global workplace programs and OKRs.
- • Vercel is a developer-focused cloud platform company behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, empowering customers like Ramp, PayPal, and Under Armour to build for the AI-native web; the Workplace Strategy & Operations team owns global workplace, real estate, employee experience, and physical security.
- • In this role, you will gain deep experience in global workplace strategy, lead a major office transition, strengthen cross-functional influence across time zones, and grow expertise in employee experience design, real estate partnership, and multi-site operations management.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a senior or standalone role.
- • Proven experience contributing to office search, build-out, or lease transition processes, including partnering effectively on real estate workstreams.
- • Experience managing multiple office locations simultaneously, including serving as the primary point of escalation across sites.
- • Track record of building or owning employee experience programs, such as events, cultural programming, and in-office activations.
- • Experience collaborating across functions and influencing senior stakeholders across different time zones.
- • Bonus: Experience managing a multi-site or multi-country portfolio in EMEA; scaling workplace operations from co-working to leased/owned office; contributing to physical security programs; speaking German (a plus for Berlin, not required).
