- • Own end-to-end development and maintenance of the company’s Shopify storefront, including theme customization, template updates, and implementation of new functionality.
- • Build and optimize landing pages, collection pages, product detail pages (PDPs), and promotional pages to drive conversion and enhance user experience.
- • Ensure site performance meets Core Web Vitals standards, with focus on speed, accessibility, and technical health across all storefront pages.
- • Implement and maintain Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and analytics tools to support marketing, sales, and operational workflows.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors across the Shopify platform in a timely and reliable manner.
- • Optimize product, collection, and content pages for AI-driven search platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Claude.
- • Implement structured data, schema markup, and llms.txt files to improve accurate representation and citation of the brand in AI-generated answers.
- • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align technical development with campaign goals and ensure consistent execution across all storefront assets.
- • Monitor how the brand appears in AI search results and recommend actionable improvements to enhance visibility and accuracy.
- • Stay current on emerging AI tools for development, marketing, content creation, and operations, and identify opportunities for workflow automation.
- • Pilot and implement AI-enabled workflows across departments, including content generation, customer support assistance, merchandising automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
- • Provide documentation, training, and guidance to internal teams on practical applications of AI tools to improve productivity and execution.
- • Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions that enhance customer experience and drive growth.
- • Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across all Shopify development tasks.
- • Ensure all storefront updates are deployed accurately and on schedule to support ecommerce campaign launches and seasonal initiatives.
- • Operate independently within a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.
- • Contribute to long-term storefront innovation by proposing and executing technical improvements that align with the brand’s growth objectives.
- • Support the adoption of AI technologies beyond development, helping teams leverage tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Perplexity for daily tasks.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members to facilitate smooth collaboration and AI adoption across departments.
- • Maintain a conversion-focused mindset in all development work, ensuring that every update enhances usability, engagement, and sales performance.

- • Strong experience working within Shopify environments, including theme customization and storefront development
- • Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to practical workflows, either professionally or personally
- • Familiarity with technical SEO, structured data, and schema implementation
- • Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Perplexity
- • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and support team adoption of AI technologies
