- • As a Site Reliability Engineer at Oxio Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company’s Carrier-as-a-Service platform, BrandVNO, which enables users to spin up their own telecom carrier from a browser and scale to millions of users.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud-based platform infrastructure, automating technical operations such as deployments and scaling, monitoring and maintaining mission-critical production systems for maximum uptime, participating in an on-call rotation, and conducting blameless postmortems to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will join a passionate engineering team dedicated to building the world’s largest and most accessible telecom network, working in a collaborative, innovative environment focused on advancing the future of connectivity through open ideas and technical excellence.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, observability, automation, and incident response while enabling engineering, telecom, and data teams to operate services reliably at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and internals including process management, filesystems, memory management, and networking
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Ruby) and strong scripting skills (Bash, Perl)
- • Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, including setting up alerts, analyzing logs, and creating dashboards for observability
- • Experience in incident management practices, including runbooks, postmortems, and participation in on-call rotations
- • Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) and cloud-native architecture
- • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls
