This position demands a blend of meticulous research, effective communication, and a deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing investigative practices.
- • Your core responsibility will involve the diligent coordination and administration of skip trace methodologies. This includes utilizing a wide array of online resources and developing strategic relationships over the phone to gather critical information. You will be expected to consistently deliver high-quality contact results, meticulously documenting and summarizing your findings through both verbal and written communication to clients and internal management.

This involves managing a substantial inventory of accounts, ensuring that regular, informative updates are provided to both clients and PAR management, thereby maintaining transparency and trust.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to proactively research, evaluate, and identify new databases and resources that can enhance our investigative capabilities and improve skip tracing results. You will also be responsible for maintaining current vendor contracts and fostering strong relationships with external recovery vendors, ensuring their effectiveness and recommending strategic changes to senior management based on performance reviews.

A professional and courteous attitude must be maintained throughout all interactions, reflecting the integrity and professionalism of OPENLANE.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential for prioritizing tasks and managing a demanding workload.
- • You will be expected to address all client and managerial communications promptly and efficiently, ensuring that queries are resolved and information is disseminated in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will perform other assignments and duties as specified by PAR senior management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to broader departmental goals.
- • This role is crucial in supporting our clients' success by ensuring the efficient recovery of assets and debtors, which directly impacts the financial health and operational efficiency of their businesses. Your work will contribute to OPENLANE's reputation as a leader in the used vehicle marketplace, driven by technology, data, and innovation.
- • You will operate within the strict confines of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), ensuring all activities are compliant and ethical. Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding customer information is paramount.
- • The role involves continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies in the skip tracing field, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our services and the development of best practices within the department.
- • You will be responsible for generating daily production reports as instructed by management, providing clear insights into your performance and the effectiveness of skip tracing efforts.
