📋 Description

  • As an SMB Account Executive at ClickUp, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new small and medium-sized business customers (10-250 employees) and expanding existing accounts through consultative, value-based selling. You will be at the forefront of ClickUp’s mission to revolutionize how teams work by promoting its AI-powered, all-in-one workspace that unifies tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search. Your success will directly contribute to ClickUp’s vision of breaking down work silos and unlocking productivity for millions of users worldwide.
  • You will own the full sales cycle for SMB leads, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, demoing, negotiating, and closing deals sourced from free trials, marketing-qualified leads, and inbound inquiries. Daily activities involve conducting high-volume outreach via email, phone, and video conferencing, delivering tailored product demonstrations, answering technical and functional questions, and maintaining accurate pipeline visibility in CRM tools. You will collaborate closely with Growth and Marketing teams to refine lead quality, optimize conversion funnels, and provide feedback on messaging and product positioning based on customer interactions.
  • You will become a trusted advisor to prospects by deeply understanding ClickUp’s platform and articulating how it solves specific pain points across industries such as marketing, operations, IT, and project management. This includes mastering use cases, competitive differentiators, and ROI storytelling to guide customers toward informed buying decisions without relying on pressure tactics. Your consultative approach will focus on discovery, active listening, and aligning solutions to customer goals.
  • ClickUp’s SMB sales team operates within a fast-moving, innovation-driven culture that values curiosity, accountability, and a genuine passion for improving how people work. 🎯 Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota through net new account acquisition and account management, including expansion and renewals.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales processes, preferably within the SaaS industry, ideally selling productivity or collaboration solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally via email, phone, and web conferencing.
