  • • The SMB Account Executive at Avanath Capital Management, LLC (operating as Momentive Software) is a critical revenue-generating role responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of small and medium-sized business accounts in the U.S. market. This position drives sustainable business impact by managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to closing and retention—ensuring customers achieve maximum value from Momentive’s purpose-driven software solutions that serve over 20,000 nonprofits and associations across 30+ countries.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning and managing a defined portfolio of SMB accounts, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, and leading end-to-end sales cycles to consistently meet or exceed quota targets. The role requires serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders such as executives, administrators, and decision-makers, and collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Solution Engineering, and Product teams to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and long-term satisfaction. The executive will maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), provide regular forecasting and pipeline reporting, and develop strategic account plans to expand revenue through upselling and cross-selling of Momentive’s suite of products including fundraising, learning, events, careers, volunteering, accounting, and association management tools.

  • • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in SaaS sales methodologies, CRM-driven pipeline management, and consultative selling within the nonprofit and association sectors. They will gain advanced skills in account planning, revenue forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration, positioning them for career growth into senior sales, sales leadership, or strategic account management roles. Success in this position is measured not only by quota attainment but also by the ability to drive customer retention, expansion, and advocacy—directly contributing to Momentive’s mission of helping organizations do more good.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS industry, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • • Demonstrated experience managing SMB accounts and owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, retention, and expansion.
  • • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and the ability to articulate technical features as business value to non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote-first environment.
  • • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred, along with familiarity with tools like Gong, ZoomInfo, or PandaDoc for sales enablement and productivity.
