- • As an SMTS/LMTS Distributed Systems engineer on Salesforce’s Public Cloud team, you will help build and maintain a large-scale distributed systems platform that powers hundreds of features for tens of millions of users daily, enabling reliable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, Azure, and Alibaba.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems across thousands of compute nodes, write Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, build microservices on Kubernetes and Docker, contribute to open source tools like Argo, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure service availability and rapid issue resolution.
- • You will join a team of innovative engineers at Salesforce working on the forefront of AI and cloud computing through the $2.5B Salesforce-Google Cloud partnership, integrating Gemini AI models into Agentforce to deliver multi-modal AI capabilities for unparalleled customer experiences.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native architectures, large-scale system design, concurrency, and DevOps practices while contributing to mission-critical systems that preserve customer customizations and integrations at scale, positioning you as a leader in the agentic era of AI-driven CRM.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Spinnaker
- • Deep knowledge of programming in Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby
- • Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service
- • Experience with Agile development methodology and Test Driven Development
- • Experience with critical infrastructure services including monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications
- • Public Cloud experience preferred
