- • Social Media Manager at Flock Safety, responsible for building and leading the company’s first dedicated social media team to support national growth and elevate brand presence across platforms.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing creative, channel-specific content, managing content calendars, engaging with online communities, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social strategy with business goals.
- • Flock Safety is a high-impact, mission-driven safety technology platform connecting communities, law enforcement, and businesses through a nationwide public-private safety network, backed by nearly $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation.
- • In this role, you will help shape the foundation of Flock’s social media presence, gain ownership of channel strategy, develop expertise in analytics and community engagement, and grow professionally in a fast-scaling, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated expertise in major social media platforms, including understanding of formats, algorithms, audience behavior, and emerging trends
- • Strong creative storytelling skills with ability to develop on-brand content, write compelling copy, and collaborate on visuals that feel native to each platform
- • Experience in content planning and execution, including managing content calendars, production timelines, approvals, and publishing with consistency and speed
- • Proven ability in community management, including responding to comments, moderating discussions, and representing the brand with empathy and professionalism
- • Comfort with data and performance metrics, including tracking results, analyzing trends, and turning insights into actionable improvements
- • Ownership mindset with initiative to identify opportunities, experiment, and scale improvements, especially in emerging or first-of-its-kind roles
