  • As a Social Media Manager (Mensch) specializing in Paid Advertising for Consumer Goods at WPP Media, you will be at the forefront of executing sophisticated online advertising campaigns for our diverse clientele. Your primary focus will be on the meticulous technical implementation of these campaigns, ensuring they not only meet but exceed client expectations and performance benchmarks.
  • You will serve as the vigilant guardian of campaign quality. Before any campaign goes live or undergoes modifications, you will conduct thorough, multi-layered checks within various advertising platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, the Meta Business Manager, TikTok Business Manager, and any other relevant ad platforms. Your attention to detail will be paramount in preventing errors and ensuring seamless campaign execution.
  • You will act as the go-to expert for our clients, providing strategic guidance on the most effective ways to implement their advertising objectives. This involves in-depth consultation, advising on best practices, and assisting clients in making informed decisions regarding campaign setup, targeting, and budget allocation to maximize their return on investment.
  • Dive deep into campaign performance as a dedicated 'Campaign Detective.' You will meticulously analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), dissecting campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Your insights will be crucial in optimizing ongoing campaigns to achieve superior results and drive measurable business outcomes for our clients.
  • Master the art of data interpretation and reporting. You will be responsible for tracking campaign performance, preparing comprehensive reports, and responding to ad-hoc data requests from internal departments. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights will be vital for informing strategic decisions across the agency.
  • Collaborate closely with account management and strategy teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client campaigns. You will be a key player in translating client briefs into technically sound and strategically aligned paid media plans.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the ever-evolving landscape of paid social media advertising. Proactively identify new opportunities and innovative approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and client strategies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our paid media processes and workflows. Share your expertise and insights with the wider team, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and execute paid advertising campaigns across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and others relevant to consumer goods marketing.
  • Develop and implement campaign structures, targeting strategies, ad creatives, and bidding methodologies to achieve specific client objectives such as brand awareness, lead generation, website traffic, and sales.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily, making necessary adjustments to budgets, bids, targeting, and creatives to optimize for key metrics and ensure efficient spend.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, visuals, and targeting parameters to identify the most effective elements and continuously improve campaign results.
  • Generate regular performance reports, providing clear insights and recommendations for optimization and future campaign planning.
  • Work closely with creative teams to ensure ad assets are aligned with campaign objectives and platform best practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the consumer goods market and its unique advertising challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure all campaigns are compliant with platform policies and relevant advertising regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of new paid social media strategies and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Be a proactive problem-solver, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during campaign execution.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business and marketing goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial apprenticeship or degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven experience in paid social media advertising, with a deep understanding of campaign implementation and optimization across platforms like Meta Business Manager and TikTok Business Manager.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English, both written and verbal.
