• • As a Mobile Software Architect at Air Apps, you will lead the design of scalable and performant mobile architecture for our suite of applications, primarily focused on iOS, with cross-functional knowledge of Android considered a plus. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to craft elegant and efficient solutions that support millions of users globally, making strategic technical decisions that shape the long-term evolution of our mobile ecosystem.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining and leading mobile architecture strategy, focusing on iOS architecture, libraries, and platform-specific patterns while maintaining Android awareness, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to align architectural decisions with product goals, establishing and enforcing coding standards and performance guidelines, leading architectural reviews, guiding refactoring and scaling efforts, designing reusable APIs, SDKs, and modular components, advising on third-party libraries and tooling, partnering with backend and cloud teams for seamless integration, staying current with mobile architecture trends, and mentoring mobile engineers to elevate team technical proficiency.

This is a fully onsite role based in our Lisbon office, where you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with relocation support available.
