📋 Description
- • Software Development Engineer role focused on designing and developing scalable, secure system architectures and APIs that empower CSG’s R&D organization to deliver innovative solutions and enhance operational efficiency.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Python, Java, or Go; integrating APIs with front-end applications; supporting CI/CD workflows; reviewing code, testing, fixing bugs; optimizing API performance and scalability through load testing and caching; and maintaining API documentation while assisting with issue resolution.
- • The Systems and API Team at CSG Systems International, Inc. builds foundational technologies that enable innovation across the company, supporting global brands in solving complex business challenges in the digital economy.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in API development, cloud-native practices, and full lifecycle software engineering while contributing to impactful systems used by major enterprises; you will grow technically through hands-on work with modern stacks and collaborate in an agile, innovation-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
- • 5+ years of experience with Python, Java or Go
- • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
- • Experience in CI-CD pipelines
- • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English in a business environment
