- • As a Software Development Engineer III (CRM - Bulk Import) at HighLevel Inc., you will own the end-to-end design, development, and operation of the CRM Bulk Import product — a critical data on-ramp that enables seamless migration of contacts, opportunities, and custom objects from external CRMs like HubSpot into HighLevel’s platform, processing millions of records per import.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement distributed workflows, build stateless read-side proxies for third-party CRM API integration, manage OAuth token resolution and ID mapping in Redis, ensure idempotency and throughput at scale, and contribute occasional frontend surfaces for import setup, progress tracking, and error reporting — all while maintaining CRM-agnostic architecture for future integrations.
- • You will join a high-scale engineering team at HighLevel, a cloud-based all-in-one marketing and sales platform serving over 60K agencies and 500K businesses globally, processing 40+ billion API hits and 120 billion events monthly across 500+ microservices, with a strong remote-first culture headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, backend scalability, and resilient data pipelines, while gaining end-to-end ownership experience that enables you to architect and operate mission-critical infrastructure with high autonomy and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong backend engineering experience with expertise in distributed systems, idempotency, and high-throughput workflows
- • Proficiency in designing and operating stateless services, Pub/Sub-based architectures, and Redis for ID mapping and caching
- • Experience integrating with third-party CRM APIs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and handling OAuth token resolution at scale
- • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and contribute to frontend surfaces (UI) for features like import setup and progress reporting
- • Experience ensuring resilience against flaky upstream systems and designing CRM-agnostic, extensible architectures
