📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer at DailyPay, you will work alongside a supportive, high-impact team of skilled backend developers to improve how teams deploy and access services, move data across the platform, and automate operations for future scale.
• You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, contribute to the transition to microservices with event-driven architecture, optimize database performance for high-traffic real-time applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs, and mentor engineers through code reviews and best practices in Golang.
• DailyPay is transforming the way people get paid as a worktech company and industry leader in on-demand pay solutions, headquartered in New York City with operations in Belfast and across the United States, using an award-winning technology platform to strengthen employer-employee relationships and support financial well-being.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Go microservices, AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Kafka, gain experience in scalable system design and event-driven architectures, and grow as a technical contributor and mentor in a collaborative, high-trust environment that values innovation and continuous learning.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years' of experience developing applications and their deployment mechanisms, including testing, scaling, and monitoring
• Demonstrated proficiency writing maintainable, high quality, robust code (preferred in Go, Java, or C++)
• Some familiarity with infrastructure such as databases, API layers, and load balancers
