- • Own the end-to-end development of AI and ML features from concept to release, integrating them directly into Tabs’ revenue platform to automate contract-to-cash workflows including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting.
- • Build full-stack solutions using Python, TypeScript, and Next.js to deliver AI/ML inference capabilities to end users, ensuring seamless interaction between backend models and frontend interfaces.
- • Drive innovation beyond pattern matching by generating novel solutions to unsolved problems in automated finance operations, with direct impact on the company’s market positioning.
- • Collaborate closely with founding team and company leadership to execute high-impact projects that eliminate manual work for finance teams at high-growth companies like Cursor and Statsig.
- • Take ownership of greenfield product development, delivering functional prototypes at 80% completion and iterating rapidly based on real-world feedback and user data.
- • Design and implement systems that automate ASC 606 compliance, real-time payment reconciliation, and invoice generation directly from contract data.
- • Work in-person four or more days per week at the Manhattan office, contributing to a culture of hands-on ownership, creativity, and grit.
- • Actively contribute to product direction by being opinionated about design and engineering decisions, knowing when to advocate for your ideas and when to commit after dissent.
- • Engage with the full AI/ML lifecycle—from training models to building user-facing interfaces that interpret and visualize inference results—regardless of prior stack experience.
- • Demonstrate passion for AI/ML systems through professional work or personal projects, showing curiosity and craft even if formal experience is limited.
- • Respond proactively to team needs, embodying a culture of ownership by addressing issues like spilled coffee with immediate action.
- • Ship creative, innovative solutions with a track record of delivering products that directly impact user workflows and business outcomes.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving requirements and technical challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment focused on automating finance operations with AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of full-stack engineering experience with direct impact on product delivery
- • 1+ year of experience building products that deliver AI/ML inference to end users (including training, deployment, or interface design)
- • Proven ability to own and ship greenfield products from concept to iteration
- • Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Next.js (or willingness to work in this stack)
- • Demonstrated passion for AI/ML systems through professional or personal projects
- • Willingness and ability to work in-person four or more days per week in New York City
