- • As a Software Engineer on Figma’s AI Platforms team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and performant systems that power AI features across Figma’s product suite, enabling teams to innovate faster with intelligent design tools.
- • Day to day, you’ll collaborate with product, research, and infrastructure engineers to support end-to-end AI feature development, debug complex production issues spanning services and stack layers, and help shape platform strategy, roadmaps, and engineering best practices organization-wide.
- • You’ll join a mission-driven team of passionate creatives and builders at Figma, where the platform empowers global teams to bring ideas to life through real-time collaboration, AI-assisted design, and seamless workflows from prototype to product.
- • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in platform engineering and AI systems, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to cutting-edge infrastructure that enhances the reliability, performance, and velocity of AI-driven product innovation at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, especially in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- • 3+ years of experience in one or more of: AI, search infrastructure, or developer platforms.
- • Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
- • Strong system design skills and a proven track record of architecting resilient production systems.
- • Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and mentoring others.
