- • Software Engineer, Banking role focused on building foundational backend systems that power every dollar flowing through Ramp’s platform, ensuring correctness, reliability, and scale for financial infrastructure.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and building large-scale backend systems for money movement, architecting clean abstractions for complex payments infrastructure, building systems for traditional and crypto payment rails, interfacing with third-party banking and payments partners, owning problems end to end from architecture to production reliability, and bringing deep attention to detail to financial systems where correctness is paramount.
- • The Payments and Banking team is a platform-first group obsessed with correctness, reliability, and scale, providing the rock-solid financial infrastructure that enables Ramp’s explosive growth by handling diverse forms of value — domestic and international currencies, stablecoins, rewards points — at massive scale through healthy connections to real-world banking systems.
- • In this role, you will learn and achieve mastery in designing scalable, secure financial systems, gain deep expertise in payments and banking infrastructure, own high-impact technical decisions that shape how companies move and manage billions, and grow as a builder who solves ambiguous problems with urgency and ownership in a high-agency environment.
