- • As a Software Engineer focused on Flights and Loyalty at Taekus Inc, you will play a critical role in scaling the company’s flight routing and booking engine, directly contributing to the expansion of its loyalty ecosystem within a profitable fintech and travel startup generating $70M in annual revenue.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving core feature delivery across the flight booking funnel—from search to booking and post-booking fulfillment—building logic for award ticket inventory pricing and point transfers, and integrating with external airline and GDS partners like Amadeus or Sabre while navigating complex protocols and data schemas.
- • You will join a resident flights expert in shaping the Flights & Loyalty team, collaborating to innovate in the super-premium travel rewards space and tackle a $3.2T market opportunity since the inception of rewards credit cards.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack or backend engineering with Python/Django, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, while gaining hands-on experience with airline loyalty programs, GDS systems, and travel hacking practices—positioning you at the intersection of fintech, travel technology, and loyalty innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of engineering experience with recent production-grade Python development
- • Experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus or Sabre
- • Technical proficiency in Python/Django, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS
- • Passion for credit card points, travel hacking, and personal experience booking flights using points
- • Familiarity with airline rewards search engines and/or history building flight inventory scrapers or engaging with communities like FlyerTalk
