- • The Software Engineer, Full Stack role at ImmunityBio, a commercial-stage biotechnology company developing cell and immunotherapy products, is critical to building next-generation AI-driven web and mobile systems that support the company’s mission to harness the immune system to defeat cancer and infectious diseases.
- • Day to day, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, Svelte, React, and TypeScript; build and optimize backend services with Node.js and Bun; develop iOS and Android mobile apps integrated with cloud and AI microservices; work with LangChain, CrewAI, and LlamaIndex to create intelligent user experiences; manage containerized services via Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes; collaborate with ML engineers, designers, and DevOps; implement CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring; and adhere to SOPs and process improvements.
- • The team is part of ImmunityBio’s AI infrastructure and applications group, working collaboratively across functions in a growing, publicly traded biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Southern California, with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge therapies and vaccines.
- • In this role, the engineer can deepen expertise in full-stack and mobile development, gain hands-on experience with AI/LLM frameworks and container orchestration, contribute to production AI-enabled applications, and grow professionally through cross-functional collaboration and access to professional development opportunities in a mission-driven biotech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- • 3+ years of professional full-stack or mobile development experience
- • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend and backend ecosystems
- • Experience with React, Next.js, or Svelte for modern frontend development
- • Experience with mobile app development (native or cross-platform) for iOS and Android
- • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration (preferred)
