📋 Description

• Join a backend engineering team focused on building and operating JVM-based services that ingest, process, and serve massive volumes of telemetry data for New Relic’s observability platform, empowering companies to thrive in an AI-first world.
• Drive the design, development, and enhancement of core platform features using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and ReactJS; act as a subject matter expert mentoring engineers; collaborate cross-functionally to build scalable, low-latency systems; optimize performance bottlenecks; and promote continuous learning and innovation.
• Work within a global team of innovators at New Relic, a leader in observability, dedicated to shaping the future of digital application performance through intelligent, scalable systems used by engineers worldwide.
• Gain deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, data integration, and observability practices while mentoring teams and influencing platform evolution in a mission-critical SaaS environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with strong computer science background
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and ReactJS
• 3+ years hands-on experience developing microservices
• 3+ years hands-on experience deploying and running workloads on AWS
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
