📋 Description

• Software Engineer II role focused on Oracle database connectors within Fivetran's data pipeline service, contributing to reliable data delivery for thousands of companies.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include debugging data replication issues, analyzing new Oracle features for connector support, improving existing connectors, migrating client-side services to the cloud, designing software architecture, and participating in hiring processes.
• Fivetran is a fast-growing company building ELT solutions that make data access simple and reliable, with a mission to empower data-driven organizations through dependable, secure infrastructure.
• Opportunity to deepen expertise in Java, C, Oracle systems, cloud infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes), and high-performance data engineering while contributing to a product used by analysts worldwide.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of programming experience in Java or C
• Ability to write well-structured, performant code and improve existing codebases
• 1+ years of experience working in cloud environments using AWS, GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, or similar technologies
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Experience working in large distributed teams
• Bonus: Experience with Oracle RDBMS administration, database internals, or connector development
