📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer II at CSAA Insurance Group, you will contribute to Enterprise Data Services (EDS), which delivers critical data infrastructure and capabilities that power decision-making, operations, and business automation across the organization.
• Your day-to-day work will involve designing and building scalable services using Java in a microservices architecture, leveraging AWS and Kubernetes, practicing DevOps with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating in Scrum teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.
• You will join a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven culture at CSAA Insurance Group, a leading personal lines property and casualty insurer and AAA affiliate, where innovation and employee growth are prioritized.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and modern software practices while gaining exposure to enterprise-scale data solutions and having the opportunity to influence technical direction and system reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in software engineering
• Experience designing and developing microservices using Spring Boot
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Python, or NodeJS
• Experience with RESTful Webservices and/or GraphQL
• Familiarity with AWS native services (e.g., Lambda), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk)
