📋 Description
- • Software Engineer — Integrations role at Kodex Inc., focused on building and operating customer-facing integrations that serve as the default 'Bridge' between law enforcement, companies, and external systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and shipping integration capabilities such as external-facing APIs, identity federation (e.g., Sign in with Kodex/OIDC), government portal integrations, self-serve marketplace apps, and improving reliability and observability across integration surfaces.
- • Kodex revolutionizes secure data exchange for sensitive subpoenas and data requests, trusted by industry leaders like Coinbase, Stripe, and AT&T, and supported by over 15,000 government agencies across 190 countries.
- • The role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, security-critical systems using AI-assisted development while maintaining engineering rigor, ownership, and accountability for production systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong in TypeScript with comfort across Node.js backend and React frontend
- • Experience with or eagerness to learn Golang and security-focused infrastructure (e.g., AWS Nitro Enclaves, key management)
- • Proven experience shipping and operating production APIs/integrations (REST/GraphQL, webhooks, queues, async workflows)
- • Understanding of or eagerness to learn authn/authz patterns (OAuth2/OIDC, service-to-service auth, token hygiene)
- • Ability to take ambiguous requirements and turn them into clear designs and deliverables
